Paul Hession produced his best performance for some considerable time in winning the 200 metres in an international meeting in Cuxhaven, Germany tonight in 20.75 (+0.0). Of particular note was his easy defeat of Europe's 4th fastest (20.50) this year Johan Wissman, Sweden. In the 1500 metres Liam Reale ran an excellent 3.39.29 to finish 3rd . This performance is a clear indicator that Liam is back to the form of earlier in the season when he made a breakthrough to run 3.38.65 in the USA. Thomas Chamney finished 5th in the 800 metres in 1.48.61. Anna Boyle finished 5th in the 100 metres in 11.67 (-0.2) and 10th overall in the 200 in 24.29 (-0.9). Ciara Sheehy was 6th overall in the 200 metres in 23.86 (+0.2). In her first run in Europe this season Sinead Evans finished 5th in the 1500 metres in 4.13.94
