Irish Team Timetable For World Juniors

The nine strong Irish team will begin their campaign at the IAAF World Junior Track and Field Championships tomorrow, July 22nd. The level of competition at the World Junior Championships will be of the highest quality when you consider previous winners include athletic icons Usain Bolt and David Rudisha. The Irish athletes will test themselves against the very best junior athletes in the World at the iconic Hayward Field, a track steeped in athletic history.

Irish Athletes Timetable

Irish athletes Siofra Cleirigh Buttner (Dundrum South Dublin AC) and Aislinn Crossey are first off for the Irish team as they compete in the 800m heats at 20.15am (IRL time) on Tuesday 22nd of July. Emma O’Hara (Galway City Harriers AC) is also in action as she competes in the hammer qualification at 1.30am (IRL time) on the 23rd.
