St John Bosco Athletics Club/Donegal Sports Partnership Promotion Invitation to [a] Coaches who are or intend coaching Jumps and [b]Jumps Athletes and their Coaches Venue – Abbey Voc School , Donegal Town Maeve and Sean Kyle Maeve former Olympian – first Irish woman to compete in the Olympics Currently coaching a number of International High Jumpers e.g. Adrian O’Dwyer PB 2.30metres and up and coming youngsters --2metres plus jumpers Sean has coached numerous Olympians in a number of disciplines. Is recognised as one of the top coaches in Europe. Awarded Master Coach recognition by the British AAA a number of years ago. Timetable and Content Saturday 5th May 2pm — 4.00pm High Jump – coaching the basics/fundamentals; addressing common beginner faults; video analysis Q and A Maeve Kyle 4.00 tea/coffee break 4.30 – 6.00 pm –general to specific conditioning for High Jump Maeve Kyle followed by Q and A Dinner 8pm Sunday 6th May 10.00 –11.30 coaching the basics of Long jump/fundamentals; recognising and addressing technical faults; video analysis -- Sean Kyle 11.30 Break 12.00am -- 1.30pm – conditioning – general and specific for Long Jump -Sean Kyle followed by Question and Answer session Cost 10 Euro Enquiries to David Doherty 0868011540 davidjdohertry@eircom.net or to Eamon Harvey 0872797548 eamon@athleticsireland.ie
