James Kelly (Finn Valley) was the standout individual performer on day 3 of the GloHealth Juvenile Indoor Championships with a championship best performance in the U17 boys shot put.

Kelly usurped his brother John's record with a best of 16.09m. Some of the other individual winners included Rachel Bowler (Tralee Harriers) in the U19 girls triple jump with a best of 10.51m, Gareth Crawford (Lifford Strabane) in the U18 boys triple jump with a best of 13.09m and Marguerite Furlong (Adamstown) in the U17 girls shot put with 12.09m.
