Mayo Co. Board hosts its installment of the SPAR Mile Challenge at the Ballina AC track at Belleek, Ballina on 07/07/07. The SPAR Mile Challenge is an opportunity for people of all ages, shapes, make and size to participate in a nationwide event and compare themselves with friends, family and colleagues in 28 venues all over the country. You can get your entry in now at www.sparmilechallenge.com, the event website, where you can download valuable information on the host venues, training programmes, history of the mile event and so on. Why not encourage your friends, family, workmates or team mates to enter also, and find out who will have bragging rights for the next 12 months! If you're in Mayo on 07/07/07 and you can crawl, walk, jog or even run 4 laps of a track then this event is for you.
