National Throws Squad announced

Athletics Ireland have announced the National Throws squads for the upcoming season. The squads will get together on three separate days of training at various centres throughout the country. Each session will cover a range of technical and physical exercises that will all lead to you improving as a thrower.

The first squad day will be on December 5th in Tullamore Harriers from 10am to 4pm. This will only be for the Hammer and Javelin groups.

On the following weekend (December 12th and 13th) , Discus and Shot Put groups will have the opportunity to listen to Vesteinn Hafsteinsson (coach to Olympic Discus Champion – Gerd Kanter). More information about this weekend is on the site HERE
