NEW U23 100M RECORD FOR ISRAEL OLATUNDE

Israel Olatunde (UCD AC) has broken the Irish U23 100m record with a 10.27 performance at the Raiffeisen Austrian Open meet this evening (June 2nd).

Olatunde finished second in the heat and moves on to this evening’s final. The performance moves the UCD sprint star to 3rd Irish all-time list behind Paul Hession and Jason Smyth.

Olatunde’s training partner, Joseph Ojewumi (Tallaght AC), also secured a 100M PB at the same meet, clocking a brilliant 10.44 which also secured him a reappearance later this evening.
