Run Jump Throw Workshop Monaghan

The first Run Jump Throw Workshop of 2019 took place in The Peacelink Clones Co Monaghan on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th of January where 30 Coaches from Cavan/Monaghan Clubs braved the terrible weather especially Saturday with non-stop rain.

Rdo Dermot Mc Granaghan praised all the coaches in attendance for their input and enthusiasm throughout the workshop  All coaches spent an hour on the fundamentals of 6 different events  Shot,Javelin,Hurdles,Long Jump,High Jump and Sprints. Shauna Also spent some time on setting up Blocks and good quality Drill work for sprinters. On Saturday Bernard and Paul done a 20 min session on Dynamic Warm ups which was received very well from all in attendance  

Special thanks to all the lead coaches for the workshop namely Shauna Carlin Sprints, Brendan Rodgers High Jump, Des Mulvey Shot Putt and Javelin Paul Mc Corry Hurdles and Bernard Mc Aree Long Jump. Dermot also wishes to thank Paul O Neill from Clones AC and Eimear Nulty and her team at the Peacelink Clones for all their work throughout the workshop.
