Athletics Ireland is delighted to launch a brand-new Transition Year (TY) Leadership Programme for 4th Year Leaving Certificate students.

In October 2024, Athletics Ireland is piloting a TY Leadership programme for 4th year students, and we are currently seeking expressions of interest from DEIS Schools or schools located in areas of disadvantage in the Dublin area or surrounds.

Students participating in the programme will gain invaluable experience and knowledge across several different themes, such as participation, coaching, events and officiating, media, and having a career in sport.
