4x100m Relay Team Announced

Sarah Lavin (UCD AC), Catherine Mc Manus (Celtic DCH), Phil Healy (Bandon AC), Niamh Whelan (Ferrybank AC), Amy Foster (City of Lisburn AC) and Kelly Proper (Ferrybank AC) have been named on the Irish 4x100m relay team for the European Track and Field Championships in Zurich. The women’s team have a season’s best time of 44.45 set in Geneve in June.

Both Louise Kiernan (Fingallians AC) and Steph Creaner (Celtic DCH) have been named as alternatives on the team in the case that any one of the selected relay team members cannot meet with current form and fitness.

The Irish relay team will begin their campaign on the 16th of August in the heats with the final taking place a day later.
