Athletics Ireland’s Club Support Scheme is proving a great success with clubs all over the country. Many clubs have received the Athletics Leader pack as a result of three coaches from the club attending an Athletics Leader Course and 20 kids between the ages of 5 and 10 being registered with AAI. The Club Support scheme will be expanded to Level 1 courses early in 2007, and clubs that send 3 coaches on a Level 1 course, or that have three Level 1 coaches registered with AAI from the club along with 20 kids between the ages of 10—14 registered with AAI, will receive a Level 1 Athletics pack.
