AAI Games awarded European Athletics Permit

Athletics Ireland is delighted to confirm that the AAI games have been awarded a European Athletics Permit for 2021. The AAI Games will now be a Category D event for World Ranking Points and will offer athletes a valuable opportunity to gain points towards Tokyo Qualification.

AAI Games: June 12th and 13th Morton Stadium, Santry

Hamish Adams, Athletics Ireland CEO said: “We are delighted to have been awarded a European Athletics Permit for the 2021 AAI Games. We look forward to seeing some top-quality athletics action over the weekend of June 12th and 13th”.

Athletics Ireland still await official confirmation from Government around guidelines for the hosting of this event.
