Event details - Directions to track - Directions to Sligo IT for AAI Games Athletics Leinster will be hosting the AAI National Senior and Masters Combined Events Championships in conjunction with the region’s own Juvenile and Senior Combined Events this coming weekend at the new track in Charlesland, Greystones, Co. Wicklow. The first event is scheduled for 12:00 PM on Saturday and check in will be open from 10:30 AM. The start time on Sunday is 11:00 AM. Seniors will have a full heptathlon/decathlon over two days broken down as: Men – Day 1 100m - Long Jump - Shot Putt - High Jump - 400m Men – Day 2 110m Hurdles - Discus - Pole Vault - Javelin - 1500m Women – Day 1 100m Hurdles - High Jump - Shot Putt - 200m Women – Day 2 Long Jump - Javelin - 800m Masters Day 1 (Saturday) Men (M1-M3) 110m Hurdles - Long Jump - Shot Putt - High Jump - 1500m Men (M4+) 100m - Long Jump - Shot - 1500m Women (M1-M3) 100m Hurdles - High Jump - Shot Putt - Long Jump - 800m Women (M4+) 100m - Shot Putt - Long Jump - 800m Directions to the track are as follows:Travelling South from M50 Leaving the M50, proceed onto M11/N11. Stay on N11, pass through village of Kilmacanogue ( garage on either side of road ), pass through Glen of the Downs, go past the exit for Delgany, continue on the N11 and take the signposted left for Greystones - at the major road works. Proceed along dual carriageway for approx. 1.5 miles. Go through the roundabout crossing the Kilcoole road. At the next roundabout turn right & enter Charlesland Sport & Recreation Park - Jacky Skelly’s gym near entrance. Travelling North on N11 After Newtownmountkennedy proceed through Glen of the Downs dual carriageway. Take the exit marked Glenview Hotel / Wexford (just before bridge). Turn right and right again over flyover and onto N11 southbound. Pass through Glen of the Downs, go past the exit for Delgany, continue on the N11 and take the signposted left for Greystones - at the major road works. Proceed along dual carriageway for approx. 1.5 miles. Go through the roundabout crossing the Kilcoole road. At the next roundabout turn right & enter Charlesland Sport & Recreation Park - Jacky Skelly’s gym near entrance.
