John Cronin of Tullamore was recently appointed to The European Athletic Associations Panel of Area Technical Officials. ATO's are appointed by The EAA to officiate at European events. John a former chairman of the Leinster Council will have his first assignment at the prestigous European Athletics Indoor Cup in Lievin in France on March 5th. Ireland's other qualified ATO's Liam Hennessy and Nick Davis also have assigments next summer with Liam chairing the Jury of Appeal at The European Cup Combined Events Super League in Arles in France on July 1st and 2nd. and Nick joining the Jury of Appeal for The Euopean Cup First league in Thessaloniki on June 17th and 18th.
