The Great Limerick Run and the Dublin City Half Marathon headline what promises to be a fantastic few days of road running across Ireland this weekend.
With over 30,000 runners expected to take to the streets of Dublin and Limerick, it’s set to be a massive weekend for participation, community spirit, and charity fundraising.
Huge amounts continue to be raised for charities all over Ireland through Athletics Ireland permitted recreational events.Participants in Athletics Ireland permitted events raised over €6million in 2025, with a further €320,000+ already raised in 2026.
