The Board of Athletics Ireland has appointed Patsy McGonagle as senior team manager
to cover the period up to the end of 2008. This appointment will cover all the major games including the World Championships in Osaka 2007 and the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008. The Olympic Council of Ireland has endorsed the latter. Patsy was team manager at the recent European Championships in Gothenburg and has previous experience of World Championships and Olympic Games. We congratulate Patsy on his appointment.
