4x400 relay teams announced Athletics Ireland are pleased to announce 4x400 relay teams for two internationals in the coming weeks. The women’s 4x400m relay team will compete in Primo Nebiolo Memorial meeting on Friday 5th June. National record holder Joanne Cuddihy is unavailable due to a knee injury but is expected to recover in time for the European Cup. Karen Shinkins DCH makes a comeback to international athletics after retiring in 2007. Brona Furlong of Slaney Olympic is rewarded for a personal best performance in the Bedford Games. Thomas Chamney (Crusaders) will also compete in Turin in the 800m with Deirdre Ryan (DSD) looking to continue her return to form in the high jump. 4x400m Women Turin 6th June Michelle Carey Dublin Striders A.C.
