In 2023 over €300,000 has been raised and shared directly to charities from integrated fundraising in Athletics Ireland permitted recreational events.
We are very proud of all our recreational runners who are giving back so much to those in our society that need it the most.
All permitted recreational events have the option to set up custom campaigns for charities of their choice or to support the default campaigns set up in the system. We encourage all our Clubs and promotors to support this great work.
The Athletics Ireland default charity campaign funds raised now stands at €48.6k, a €10k jump in the last three weeks.
