Tim Ahern, a resident of Ballyclogh, Mallow, Co Cork and a member and former Chair of Blarney Inniscarra AC, long time Vice Chair of Cork County Board and Munster representative on the Athletics Ireland Competition Committee. Tim was a dedicated National Technical Official who specialised in the High Jump. Tim officiated at all levels from club to International with a highlight being High Jump Referee at the European Athletics First League Team Championships in 2013. Tim was a quiet spoken gentleman who always displayed his immense knowledge of the rules and their application. Our thoughts are with his family, his club, Cork County Board, Munster Athletics and his fellow officials & Committee members and his many, many friends in the sport of Athletics.

May he rest in peace.
