Colm Burke wins in Mount Bolus The annual Marian Geraghty Memorial 10k took place last Sunday in Mount Bolus, and had an excellent entry of 109 runners and walkers. On a hot and humid day Colm Burke set the pace from the start and was always in control up front to win in a time of 33.13. This was a strong run by Colm over a demanding course on a very hot day. In second place was Barry Minnock, he was very pleased with his race as he felt he finished strong but said his recent mountain running had probable taken away some of his speed. The unattached Declan Fahey took third place ahead of first Offaly athlete Cormac Troy. Karmel Bracken was the first lady finisher.
