UK Indoor Championships produce more good performances The second day of the UK championships produced some fine performances. David McCarthy's move to 800m was rewarded by another PB as he finished fourth in a very closely fought final. He finished fourth in a time of 1:49.53. Paul Hession clocked 6.67 when qualifying for the final, just one hundredth off his new Irish record. He finished eight in the final with 6.68, showing great consistency at the distance. Orla Drumm won bronze in the 1,500m and her time of 4:21.12 is a new PB. Mark Christie clocked 8:06.88 when finishing fourth in the 3,000m.
