Athletics Ireland are pleased to announce the team for Celtic Cross Country International on 12th January 2008 in Edinburgh. European Cross Country participant Cathal Dennehy of Limerick will compete in the Men’s under 23 team with John Coghlan Metro St Brigids stepping up from the Under 20 category. The women’s under 23 team contains both Frances Nic Reamoinn and Roseanne Galligan who competed in Toro. Lorraine McCarthy from Ferrybank A.C. will compete in the junior women’s event with Michael Mulhare competing in the Junior Men’s team. High Performance Manager Gareth Devlin said “This will be our first international of the new year.
