The KBC Asset Management Annual St. Patrick’s Day 4 Mile Road Race, Sat March 17th 2007 Getting geared up for the KBC Asset Management St.Patricks Day 4 mile road race - Athletics legend Eamonn Coghlan & Leprechaun Michelle Costello Eamonn Coghlan, one of the legends of Irish athletics who was known as the Chairman of the Boards, has been appointed Race Director for the KBC Asset Management Annual St. Patrick’s Day 4 Mile Road Race to be held on the morning of Saturday Sat March 17th in the Phoenix Park at 10a.m.. Eamonn follows in his father’s footsteps, as Bill Coghlan was race director of the first ever St. Patrick’s day road race in 1983, which Eamon co-incidentally won. There is over €3,000 in individual, team and random prizes, souvenir t-shirts, goodie bags, prizes for fancy dress costume, refreshments, sponsored again this year by KBC Asset Management, one of the country’s leading fund managers. The race is in aid of the Development of young athletes Metropolitan Harriers & St. Brigid’s Athletic Club.
