The Irish Life Health National League Final culminated the domestic track and field season with St Abban’s women and Clonliffe Harriers’ men the overall premier winners in Tullamore today (August 20).

Saragh Buggy led the Laois club to a great victory in the premier division ahead of Dundrum South Dublin and Kildare County. Sisters Nessa and Ruby Millet won the 400m hurdles and the 100m respectively.

The field eventers scored key points for Clonliffe Harriers with David Donegan (pole vault), Keith Marks (high jump), Andri Mahin (triple jump), Luke Mangan (shot put), Stephen Rice (javelin) and Simon Galligan (hammer). They edged Crusaders into second with Tipperary County third.

In division one Donore Harriers women came out on top ahead of Louth County and Kerry County. Wexford County were the best men’s team in division one ahead of St Laurence O’Toole and Bandon Striders.
