Athletics Ireland Development & Coaching Teams are in the process of compiling a comprehensive calendar of events for January 2012 to May 2012. This calendar includes all Coach Education dates, Regional Squad Dates, Event workshops and any other coaching or development dates of interest to Athletics Ireland members.

Please note that this calendar will be added to on a regular basis so check back regularly. It should be considered a first draft until all competition dates have been finalised. Please bear in mind that events can be changed at late notice so please confirm dates, times, venues etc with the contact person provided before applying for courses or travelling to events.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING APPLICATIONS FOR COACH EDUCATION COURSES: Please note that all applicants for Athletics Ireland Coach Education courses at Level 1 and Level 2 MUST send their Certificate Number from the 4 hour basic awareness workshop on ‘Child Welfare & Protection in Sport’ that they have attended in order to be Certified at Level 1 or Level 2. This will become mandatory at all Coach Education levels in near future, so anyone planning to attend any Coach Education courses is advised that they should contact their nearest Local Sports Partnership to enrol for the 4 hour basic awareness workshop.
