The 2026 National Marathon Championships will take place in conjunction with the Irish Life Dublin Marathon on Sunday, October 25th, as thousands of runners take to the streets of the capital for one of the biggest days on the Irish running calendar.

The championships will once again bring together some of Ireland’s leading distance runners and club athletes, with national honours on the line over 26.2 miles.
