Alistair Cragg opts for Cork 1,500m - Waterford stand opening Olympic bound Alistair Cragg has opted to race over 1500m at next week's Cork City Sports (Saturday 12th July @ 2pm). The former European Indoor champion joins a talented field that includes Americans, Rob Myers, Chris Solinsky, John Jefferson, Australian champion, Mitch Kealey and the fast Adrian Blincoe (New Zealand). Cragg will be joined by leading home runners, James Nolan, Ciaran O'Lionard, Colm Rooney, Kevin Moriarty who will be seeking fast times in a race that has been won in the past by such legends as Steve Ovett, Eamon Coghlan, Nourredine Morceli, Marcus O'Sullivan, Steve Scott, John Walker.
