Cullen and McCormack set for Stanford Invitational

Fionnuala McCormack (Kilcoole) and Mary Cullen (North Sligo) are set to compete in the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto, California this weekend.

McCormack will compete over 10,000m where she will eye the Olympic qualifying time of 32:15. McCormack finished 15th over that distance at the London Olympics and boasts a personal best of 31:29.22 which she ran at this meet in 2012.

Mary Cullen continues her comeback trail and will compete over 5,000m with her sights set on the Olympic qualifier of 15:24.00. Meanwhile Maria McCambridge (DSD) is down for the Rome marathon

Leading Irish athletes Sara Treacy (Dunboyne) and Mick Clohisey (Raheny Shamrock) are set to headline the Dunboyne 4 mile road race on Sunday.
