At the World Indoor Tour in Belgrade Darragh McElhinney (UCD ACO has come third in the 1,500m in 3:39.63, a NEW National U23 Record.

Frank Conway set the previous 1500m record in 1989 at 3:41.24.

The Cork European Silver Medallist will represent Ireland at the World Indoor Championships in Belgrade in next week on March 18-20th in the Men’s 300m.
