Sets New PB in 400m Heats and Again in Semi Final David Doyle was best of the Irish at the UK indoor championships in Sheffield. Doyle, who competed on the Irish 4x400m relay team in Gothenburg last August, was third in his heat and qualified as one of the fastest losers with a time of 48.63 - a new PB. Later in the afternoon he ran the semi final and again finished third, once again shattering his PB with a time of 47.89. David McCarthy and Craig Murphy David McCarthy coasted to victory in the senior race at the KitKat Munster Schools cross country championships at a wet St. Augustine�s today. Running his first race since the World junior track and field championships in Beijing he couldn�t have been more impressive. Afterwards he said he felt he was floating over the muddy patches such was the feeling of strength he had. He races over 3,000m at the AAI Indoor Championships at the Odyssey next weekend.
