2018 European Championships bronze medallist, Thomas Barr, has secured his place in tomorrow’s semi-final of the 400m hurdles with a superbly judged 49.49 performance to take first place in the second of the 400mH heats.
The Ferrybank AC athlete exited the World Championships at the semi-final stage last month and has made no secret of his desire to make this week’s final on the back of a great 3-week training block.
Barr will return to the track tomorrow morning for the semi-finals which start at 10.25am Irish time.
