Irish results from Stavanger Norway - 10,000n race at Dublin Championships - Papendal Games After missing the track season through injury, and running her first track race since last summer, Derval O’Rourke finally got back in action tonight in Stavanger in Norway. It wasn’t quite track weather as strong winds slowed times considerably, but the World indoor 60m champion and European 100m silver medallist will surely be pleased with her third place finish behind Angela Whyte from Canada who has a faster time to her credit than the Irish champion. Michelle Carey was a good winner of the 400m hurdles, while Paul McKee, who will surely be looking to win back his 400m Irish record, got the better of Gordon Kennedy in the 400m.
