The Story of Donore Harriers has been shortlisted for ‘Book Printer of the Year’ at the Irish Print Awards 2026, with the winners due to be announced today (April 10th).
This recognition is a wonderful acknowledgement of the work that went into the publication, particularly the care taken in reproducing archival photography while preserving the authenticity and character of the club’s history.
The book spans 20 chapters and reflects Donore’s journey across Dolphins Barn, Kilmainham, Islandbridge, and Chapelizod, capturing both its legacy and its continuing story.
The club were especially proud to launch the book in December at the Hilton Hotel, Kilmainham.
The nomination represents not just the work of the authors and production team, but also the wider story of Irish athletics at club level.
