Elizabeth (Lizzie) Broderick appointed Director of Competitions at Athletics Ireland

Lizzie Broderick has been confirmed as the new Director of Competitions in Athletics Ireland. She is a native of county Meath and has worked in Special Olympics Ireland as competitions manager, and various sports development and coach education roles for the last 12 years.

Prior to working with Special Olympics Ireland, Lizzie worked in the national youth organisation, Foroige. She is a graduate of the Waterford Institute of Technology with a degree in Business, Recreation and Leisure Management. Lizzie commences her new role with us in January 2019 and we look forward to working with her and wish her every success.
