The most comprehensive track and field competition of the season gets underway on Wednesday 22nd April in Morton Stadium with the first of the eight Graded Meetings organised by Dublin Board.

A new innovation is the 'Endurance Project' which combines races over 3k, 5k and 10k where athletes will score points based on times, with awards to the first three men and women.

Competition Secretary Owen McLoughlin says "We are delighted to work with Chris Jones AAI 's Head of Endurance on this project to help the development of distance runners and get more of them out racing on the track".

Athletes from all over the country compete in the full range of track and field events with Tallaght and Morton stadiums being used.
