Athletics Ireland are pleased to announce the following team of 8 athletes for the European Junior Championships in Hengelo, Holland on the 19-22 July 2007. The team is dominated by Ferrybank A.C. who make up half of the team including National Junior Long Jump Record Holder Kelly Proper and hurdlers Mairead Murphy, Jessie Barr and Kalyn Sheehan. David McCarthy and Amy Foster who won silver medals at the European Youth Olympics in 2005 are also included in the team. Long Jumper Eoin Hannon and DSD Athlete Runner Suzanne Huet are included after making the required entry standards at the National Junior Championships in Tullamore on Sunday.
