Congratulations to Terry McHugh - Swiss Coach of the Year Six times Olympian with 21 national titles under his belt, Terry McHugh turned his hand to coaching with equal success, it seems, in Switzerland after he retired from participation in competitive athletics here. Terry's expertise in coaching is highly regarded in Switzerland and last year the Swiss federation appointed him as National Event Coach. As further evidence of the strength of his skills in coaching, last weekend he won the prestigious Coach of the Year award - the first time a non-national has won this award. Terry trains a fine stable of javelin throwers, with Stefan Muller being the most notable. Stefan broke the 80-metre mark last year and boasts a personal best throw of 82.07 metres. He finished 7th in last year's European Championships. Terry has 5 other javelin throwers in his group who are all national champions in their respective categories.
