Rose Anne Gilligan finished third in the 800m at the Iberoamericano Huelva meet in Spain last night running 2.04.05, she lead at the bell going through in 59.02. The race was won by Sanne Vertegen of Netherlands in 2.01.43. Maria Mc Cambridge recorded a season best of 15:51.55 in the 5000m moving her to second in the Irish Rankings list while finishing tenth. Also competing was Tom Cotter who finished 14th in the 3000m steeplechase running 8:50.45.
