The second Round of the Hibernian National League took place on Sunday at Santry and CIT Cork to decide who should go forward to the decider in Tullamore on 20th August. In Men's Premier, Clonliffe were the big movers jumping from third place to head the division by the end of the day, North Down clung tenaciously to second while DSD slipped from first to third. In Women's Premier, newcomers Bandon sit proudly on top ahead of Abbey who started the day in 5th with Leevale also making a move to third place. Men's Division 1 saw 21 contenders start out seeking the eight places on offer; Shercock demonstrated strength in depth to nudge past Togher/Belgooley, Co Meath also moved forward to take third ahead of morning leaders City of Derry who slipped back to fourth. Women's Division1 continues to be led by City of Lisburn who held off the charge of Athletics Wexford, Co Meath and Clonliffe. Going into the Final the leaders carry 9 points for a win, 7 for second , and so on down to 1 point for the eight qualifier, hence the intensity of competition in the first two rounds. The final will see the appearance of many of the Irish team in Gothenburg for what should be an exciting climax to the home Track and Field Season. Premier Men
