In Zurich on Friday Joanne Cuddihy, making her first Golden League appearance, slipped coming out of the blocks and was always chasing the field as a result. She finished eight in 52.44 against high class opposition. In Rieti Italy this evening Roisin McGettigan was a good third in the 3,00m steeplechase in 9:37.94, while David Gillick was seventh in the 400m in 46.89, and David Campbell was sixth in the 800m in 1:48.61.
