Niall Tuohy, Ferrybank and Conor Murphy, Naas won the 1500 metres and 800 metres respectively at the junior international meeting in Budapest on Sunday in personal best performances. Niall's time was 3.57.07 for an very easy victory while Conor ran 1.54.60 to finish just ahead of his teammate Brian Markham, Ennis in 1.54.67. Brian Gregan, Tallaght finished 2nd in the 400 metres in 49.15 while Anthony McCreery, Clonliffe had a fine 2nd in the pole vault clearing 4.65 metres.In the 100 metres Claire Brady, Celbridge finished 2nd in 12.31 ( -1.3 ) with Louise Kiernan, Fingallians 3rd in 12.43. Laura Crowe , Riocht was 3rd in the 800 metres in 2.12.41 while Stephen Morrow was 4th in the 800 metres in 1.57.00. In the 400 metres Mairead Deevy, Ferrybank was 7th in 57.39. At an EAP meeting in Nivelles on Saturday David McCarthy was 6th in the 400 metres in 47.51. At the same meeting Jessika Zebo ran 56.70 for 400 metres
