The Irish Life Health National Athletics Awards on the 30th of November in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry promises to be another engaging afternoon celebrating the many successes of Irish athletics from the past year.
The event crowns the many successes of our leading athletes but also recognises the work of the core volunteer base and club system which is the bedrock of the association.
Thomas Barr (Ferrybank AC) was named as the Athlete of the Year last year for his first place finish in the 400m Hurdles at the Workd University Games along with a string of other top class performances on the world stage. The Ferrybank Athlete will be in contention once more with his fantastic fourth place finish in this year’s Olympics Games.
