Caitriona Jennings (Letterkenny AC) will represent Ireland at the 2023 IAU 50Km World Championships which take place in Hyderabad, India on November 5th.
Jennings will take her place among the 120 athletes representing 20 federations. The Letterkenny star goes into the race as the current European Champion after her win in the 50K European Championships in Spain last year in a time of 3:19:42. Earlier in 2022 she finished 3rd in the 100Km World Championships in Berlin.
At the 2019 50Km World Championships, Jennings finished in a superb 5th place with a time of 3:19:50.
