Brian Gregan, Tallaght who smashed the schools' intermediate 400 metres record in Tullamore recently makes his international junior debut in Budapest on June 25th .Brian who ran 48.65 in Tullamore will have a target of 48.50 the European junior standard for 2007.Several other athletes including Niall Tuohy, Ferrybank ( most impressive double in the schools over 800 and 1500 )and Sara Louise Tracey, Moynalvey ( 1500 metres champion ) who distinguished themselves in the schools' championships are included. The full squad is as follows: Brian Gregan Tallaght 400 metres Brian Markham Ennis Track Club 800 metres Conor Murphy Naas 800 metres Stephen Morrow Ballymena 800 metres Niall Tuohy Ferrybank 1500 metres Anthony McCreery Clonliffe Pole Vault Louise Kiernan Fingallians 100 metres Claire Brady Celbridge 100 and 200 metres Mairead Deevy Ferrybank 400m Laura Crowe Riocht 800 metres Bernie Alcorn Manager The Irish team to compete in the prestigious Mannheim junior international meeting will be announced next week
