Juvenile and University Championships dovetail in Athlone

Day 3 of the Irish Life Health Juvenile Indoor Athletics Championships dovetail with the Irish University outdoor track and field championships in Athlone IT this weekend.

The University championships kick off today (April 5) and continue tomorrow (April 6) with a big double header with the juvenile championships in the international indoor arena.

A pebble could be thrown between the two tracks and hopefully the sight of the two championships side by side will show the juveniles the passage into adult competition.

There has already been an excellent two days of competition in the juvenile indoors with the final instalment on tomorrow.
