Juveniles set to shine at the Celtic Cross Country in Leeds

The Juvenile committee of Athletics Ireland are pleased to announce that 8 Girls and 8 Boys have been selected to race in the U17 events of the UK Cross Challenge – Home Countries International & Celtic Nations Cross Country races that are being held at Temple Newsam Leeds on Saturday the 8th of February 2025.  These athletes secured their places last November in Irvinestown by placing in the top 8 and as a result of that these young athletes gained their first Irish Vest which can only be a proud moment for them and their parents, coaches and clubs.

The team will be managed by Mark Connolly, Niamh Fitzgerald, Catriona Duffy and Tom Thompson.  The team departs Dublin airport on Friday 7th of February and returns late on Saturday night.
