Casey Mulvey of Innyvale AC has set a new Junior shot put record (indoor) of 15.14 in her first appearance in DePaul University in the US.
The previous record of 14.95m was set by Michaela Walsh in 2017.
Mulvey has an outdoor PB of 15.62m, and this new indoor best will represent the start of an exciting four years.
The Innyval star is set to compete again next weekend in Chicago on 10th December and will have a break then over Christmas before the bigger indoor meets in January and February.
