Mark Carroll finished 7th in the Bupa Great South Run in Portsmouth today over 10 miles in a time of 48mins 30 secs. Mark has declared an interest in the European Cross Country in Italy in December and on this performance will clearly be an addition to the team. In the women's race Sonia O'Sullivan finished 10th in 56mins 42 secs and like Mark has expressed interest in the European Cross Country. Incidentally Sonia achieved a phenomenal world best time of 51 mins on the same course in 2002.
