Mark English and Israel Olatunde among guests as The Late Late Show returns

European 800m bronze medalist Mark English, and Irish 100m record-breaker Israel Olatunde, will appear on The Late Late Show tonight, two weeks on from their stellar performances at the European Athletics Championships in Munich.

English secured an 800m bronze medal when crossing the line at the Olympiastadion in 1:45.19 just 12 days ago.

Israel Olatunde also enjoyed a European Championships to remember, breaking the Irish 100m record which had stood since had stood since 2007 with a superb 10.17 in the 100m final.

The two athletes will be representing all of their teammates who contributed to Ireland's most successful ever European Athletics Championships.

Rhasidat Adeleke has since returned to University in Texas, while European silver medallist Ciara Mageean is in Diamond League action later this evening (8.36pm Irish time).
