Michael McKillop from St. Malachy's won the Gold Medal in the Mens 800m T37 class at the Paralympic World Athletics Championships in Assen Holland today. In a tense and exciting final, the 16 year old sensation broke from the main field with 150 meters to go, winning the race in a new World Record time of 2.02.13 minutes, taking four tenths of a second off the previous mark.
